Strictly Come Dancing star Wynne Evans addressed the latest controversy to overshadow his association with the BBC show as he returned to work on Sunday. The Welsh opera singer has been issued a final warning by infuriated bosses after he was caught making a vile sexual jibe about female host Janette Manrara.
And he addressed the incident shortly after taking to the stage at Glasgow Hydro, venue for the latest show on the UK-wide Strictly Come Dancing tour. Evans, 52, was reunited with dance partner Katya Jones after withdrawing the previous evening with a 'bad ankle.'.
Addressing fans at the Hydro, the star told audience members he'd 'not had the best day', but appeared to have no problem working his way through a series of intricately choreographed routines. Despite his swift return, a faction of those in attendance admitted they were surprised to see him back onstage.

Laura Anne Goldie from Glasgow, 44, who attended the show with her friend said: 'We’re disgusted he’s says something like that. It’s completely inappropriate. 'It’ll make me feel completely different watching him this evening. It’s very ungentlemanly, I would say, and totally inappropriate. Has he got a daughter? I don't know.
