The singer, 31, rose to fame competing on the ITV talent show in 2010, finishing in fourth place behind Matt Cardle, Rebecca Ferguson and One Direction. Following the series she was signed to Syco Music, releasing her debut album Sticks and Stones in 2011 and included the singles Swagger Jagger, With Ur Love and Want U Back.

In the years since she’s released singles in 2016, 2018 and 2019. However, fans have been left delighted after Cher revealed she was set to release new music this year, a decade after her last album.
