Get your brain out of the post-Christmas slump with this festive brainteaser. Let's face it, we haven't really exercised our brains that much in the past couple of days. Most of us have been simply stuffing our faces with leftover turkey, watching plenty of festive TV specials, and generally having a well-earned break. But it's important we get our brain juices flowing as much as possible, even over the Christmas period, as it can help boost cognitive function and decrease your risk of dementia.
And what better way to keep the Christmas spirit lasting all the way until New Year than with some festive-themed brainteasers? This one features a truly Christmassy scene filled with trees, presents, and fairy lights - as well as a hidden elf that you need to find.
Take a look at the image above. Cosy, right? The decorated Christmas trees situated in the middle of a forest surrounded by wrapped presents are enough to get anyone in the festive spirit, but there's a puzzle hidden in this scene that you need to solve. Somewhere among the presents and trees is a Christmas elf, and it's your job to find him!.
According to Latico Leathers, who created the puzzle, it should take the average person 42 seconds to find the elf. However, if you want to be considered someone who has a "genius-level IQ", then you'll need to find Santa's little helper in around a quarter of that time - as you'll have just 11 seconds to solve the brainteaser.
