A festive puzzle that’s challenging Brits to spot the odd Christmas tree in 30 seconds or less is deceptively difficult to complete. Contact Lens provider, Feel Good Contacts, created the festive visual illusion to encourage people to put their vision to the test and challenge themselves to find the solution. But cracking to it is no easy feat. The brainteaser depicts a number of Christmas trees, each featuring a yellow or red five-pointed star.

However, somewhere in the image hides a tree that’s a little different - the puzzle challenges you to spot the tree sporting the six-pointed star. According to Feel Good Contacts, the average time span it takes to spot the sneakily hidden star is 62 seconds, with only 16 percent of people able to find it in under 30 seconds.

Struggling to find the answer? A great way to make solving this kind of visual brainteaser a little easier is to split the image down into smaller sections and focus on inspecting one section at a time. This should help to make it a little easier to notice the finer details.

If you still can’t find the solution, a hint would be to focus around the bottom right side of the image. If you look towards the right-hand side of the image, in the bottom corner, you can see the Christmas tree with a six-point star, rather than the five-point star that the rest of the Christmas trees feature.

While it might sound like a simple enough puzzle, it’s actually far more challenging than you’d think. What makes it even harder to spot is the fact that there are two different types of Christmas tree featured within the image, along with springs of holly dotted around.
