Wedding bells are said to be on the horizon Zendaya and Tom Holland after the Spider-Man actor proposed over Christmas, it has been claimed. Fans instantly went into meltdown moments after spotting the Dune actor wearing a huge diamond ring while attending the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

The best actress-nominee – who met her partner when they both appeared in 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming – hit the red carpet in an elegant orange gown, but it was the new accessory on her ‘wedding ring’ finger that has everyone talking. Although the lovebirds, both 28, have not officially confirmed their happy news, insiders claimed that her beau popped the question recently.

Sources told TMZ that Tom got down on one knee at Zendaya’s family home in the US at some point during their Christmas and New Year celebrations. According to the outlet, it was a ‘very romantic and intimate’ moment between the lovebirds, instead of a ‘big, over-the-top proposal’.

Despite their big news, ‘Tomdaya’ are not expected to jump straight into planning their wedding, as they both are busy with various projects. Zendaya was in attendance at the Golden Globes after being nominated in the best actress in a motion picture – musical or comedy category for her role in steamy sports drama Challengers.
