The two sirens bonded when they made the superhero movie The Eternals, which came out in 2021. Jolie played Thena while Hayek was Ajak. They became so close they have spent time together off set, like at one of Hayek's birthday parties. In fact, they get along so well, Angelina cast Salma in her 2025 movie Without Blood.
