Arne Slot admitted he was not entirely happy with Liverpool's performance against Tottenham, despite seeing his side claim a 6-3 win. The Reds were utterly dominant against Ange Postecoglou's side, even if the scoreline suggests Spurs were in the game. Instead the hosts never looked like winning, with Slot's men having gone 5-1 up.

Late strikes from Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke saved Spurs some embarassment. But even so, it was about as comfortable for Liverpool as you could imagine, though Slot was not overly impressed with his side. Instead, he took aim at a number of players for a dip in their performances after the hour mark. He insisted their decision to take their foot off the gas was 'not good enough, despite claiming all three points.

"For 60 minutes we did everything we had to do, we were comfortable and good with the ball. The main thing is we worked very, very hard," the Liverpool boss told Match of the Day. "But then the same players with the same quality thought that 10 or 15 minutes of not working as hard was good enough. Tottenam have enough quality to score goals if you give them chances. You have to be on top of your game for the whole game and we didn’t do that.”.

Liverpool are now four points clear at the top of the Premier League, with a game in hand over the rest of the top 10. But Slot has cautioned his side against getting carried away. HAVE YOUR SAY! Who was man of the match as Liverpool beat Spurs? Comment below.
