Many people will have left Valentine's Day gifting to the last minute, or they may be on a budget. Wealthify has uncovered that the number of Brits searching for 'cheap Valentine's gifts' for their significant other has more than doubled, with a 127% annual increase. This proves that Brits are really looking to keep things sweet but cheap in 2025. But that doesn't mean you can't treat your partner to something gigantic, something they'll love, for only £7.98. Yes, you could buy roses, but flowers don't last that long. Or even a teddy bear - but your partner probably already has a load of them.

And while this gift probably won't last very long either, it's definitely the tastiest of the bunch and will go down as an absolute treat with your other half. After all, it is meant to serve 12, but we won't judge if it doesn't. Asda has even likened their offering to Millie's cookie, but note that their price point is much more affordable for those looking to grab a token gift for their lover. At the time it was posted on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Group, it was originally scanned on offer at £2, but now Asda has confirmed it's coming in at a flat price of £7.98 until the big day.

Taking to the Facebook group, one woman posted a picture of the gigantic cookie, simply writing: "In Asda, giant cookie, £2." The chocolate chip cookie boasts red 'I love you' icing, accompanied by some sugar sprinkle hearts and pink icing around the edge. The packaging reads: "Soft cookie scattered with chocolate chips and hand finished with sweet 'I love you' frosting and heart-shaped sugar sprinkles". In the comments of the post, someone penned: "I got three of these in my local Asda, they're a right bargain".

Another tagged their friend, sharing: "You think ours will sell it? Could have a walk tomorrow". However, others who obviously didn't catch the deal pointed out the cookie actually scans for £7.98, which Asda has now confirmed to us. Someone else claimed: "Mine scanned at £8.20 or something like that". Someone claimed that they were "on offer" when they scanned for £2, but sadly, they're not on offer anymore.

"I also picked up two of these today for the same price - £2," somebody said. However, compared to other gigantic cookies on the market, they're less than half the price, so it's well worth grabbing one for your loved one if you need a last-minute present. But it's worth noting that not every store has them. A disappointed shopper shared: "Went to my local one and they don’t stock it- just giving people a heads up not all stores stock this".
