BBC Breakfast turned into an edge-of-the-seat watch early in the morning as brave reporter Yunus Mulla took on the bad weather to deliver live updates from the snow-engulfed Harrogate at 6.17am. Reporting from a white-blanketed backdrop, Yunus described the chaos unfolding due to the snow across the UK, disrupting operations at major airports like Manchester, Liverpool, and Birmingham.

Viewers were left enraged by the report, as they questioned why the BBC had sent reporter Yunus out in the bad conditions. Updating studio hosts Ben Thompson and Rachel Burden, he said: "It is snowing and quite heavily and has been for the past couple of hours," reports OK!.

Depicting the stark scenario, he continued: "It is settling as you can see around me, a huge blanket of snow covering Harrogate in North Yorkshire. Two amber warnings and expect disruptions, and we have had a few tech issues ourselves.". The words of warning issued by Yunus were clear when he cautioned: "If you're looking to venture out onto the road, you can see what drivers will be facing because of the advice. There is the possibility they could get stuck, and people should carry blankets and food and that kind of thing. We are facing disruption across the country. Some communities could be cut off," he pointed out, touching upon the cancellation of football matches and various airport shutdowns.
