The Traitor's fans were introduced to a new cast on New Year's Day – but what do we know about Welsh star Elen?. Elen, who describes herself as a "very bubbly and energetic girl," burst onto the scenes last night with her infectious personality. The 24-year-old Cardiff native also revealed herself to be one of the top sleuths on the show as he sussed out that there would be three female traitors in the very first episode.
"One thing I am really, really sure of, I do think there will be more girls as traitors this year," she commented before heading to the Scottish highlands. Sitting round the table with her co-stars on night one, Elen doubled down as she said there was a 'strong female presence' in the room.
The brunette-bombshell also explained that people often underestimate her. With Welsh being her first language, Elen is able to switch between her mother tongue and English at the drop of her hat. She explained that when switching, due to not being as articulate in English as she is in Welsh, people often assume she's "being dumb". That, however, is far from the case. In her day-to-day life, Elen works as a translator. She said: "Every time I mix with English speaking people, they tend to underestimate me. However, how I present myself on the outside, doesn't really represent what's going on inside. That’s something I feel like I can use in the castle to my advantage.".
Away from the Scottish highlands, Elen explained that she's an outdoorsy girl, so believes that she has an advantage, admitting that she's "a sporty girl, I'm active," and takes part in strength training. But it's not just her physical abilities that will benefit her, the stunning star admits she's "very good at riddles and mind games," which could help her to keep a pokerface.
