Ben Affleck looks thinner than usual in first look at Accountant 2 which he made amid Jennifer Lopez split

Ben Affleck looked trim in first look images for his movie The Accountant 2. The movie star, 52, was pictured alongside co-star Jon Bernthal as they focused on an unseen target ahead of them. The film centers around Ben's character Christian Wolff and his brother Brax, played by Jon. Christian, a forensic accountant, tries to help solve the murder of a treasury agent, working with brother Brax despite their estrangement.

It takes place eight years after the events that took place in the first installment of The Accountant. Last month, Ben and Jennifer settled their divorce - five months after their shock split on their second wedding anniversary. Simmons, Danielle Pineda, Grant Harvey and Cynthia Addai-Robinson.

The Accountant 2 is directed by Gavin O'Connor and written by Bill Dubuque - both of whom who also served as director and writer for The Accountant. Ben produced The Accountant 2 - along with childhood friend and actor Matt Damon, in addition to Lynette Howell Taylor and Mark Williams. The original film - The Accountant - was first released in 2016 - with Ben, Jon, and J.K starring in the film. Anna Kendrick, Jeffrey Tambor and John Lithgow were also in the first film.

Jennifer, 55, and Ben who wed in 2022, will officially end their marriage on February 20, with the pair each walking away with what they individually acquired during their brief union, DailyMail.com can confirm. The pair have also reached an agreement on their $61million Beverly Hills mansion they bought together, although the terms will remain private. Christian, a forensic accountant, tries to help solve the murder of a treasury agent, working with brother Brax despite their estrangement. The former couple wed without a prenuptial agreement - with their cumulative wealth sitting at $550million, with Lopez's assets accounting for $400million of their wealth treasure chest. The actor-director and singer-actress eloped at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022 - 18 years after breaking off their first engagement in 2004.

The couple again exchanged vows at Affleck's estate outside of Savannah, Georgia on August 20 that year. J-Lo filed the divorce documents on the two-year anniversary of their Georgia nuptials, but listed their separation date as April 26, 2024. They had first rekindled their romance in early 2021, just weeks after J-Lo broke off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. TMZ, who were first to report on the settlement, reports Affleck will hold onto his stake in his production company, Artists Equity, which he founded in 2022 with BFF Matt Damon.
