Liverpool star Curtis Jones has broken his silence with a two-word message on social media following the mass brawl during the Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Wednesday. The 24-year-old player was one of the four individuals to receive a red card during the controversial game against Everton, which was followed by a series of chaotic scenes after the final whistle. After the game ended in dramatic fashion with a stoppage-time equaliser scored by James Tarkowski to gain a 2-2 draw and a point for the Toffees, Abdoulaye Doucoure was seen celebrating in front of Liverpool fans at the stadium.
The brawl broke out when Jones was incensed by the Mali international's gesture with the Englishman running towards Doucoure in order to stop him. However, a day after the chaotic scene, Jones took to X to share a two-word message to Liverpool fans. 'Always together,' wrote the Reds' star, accompanied by a flexing biceps emoji. Both Jones and Doucoure were dismissed after clashing at the end of the heated match.
