Team Jade is gearing up for Delta Force Season 2, which starts this weekend and ushers in a ton of new content. But you'll have to wait a little longer for the Black Hawk campaign. Delta Force is wrapping up its first season in the PC open beta (formerly dubbed early access) and gearing up for Season Starfall, which players can jump into tomorrow. While the game is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in Q1 2025, the console launch won't be happening with the Delta Force Season 2 release; and the open beta on iOS and Android has been pushed to this summer. That's not the only apparent delay, with the Black Hawk Down campaign seemingly missing its planned date too.
The mobile delay was announced on Twitter, although Team Jade says there'll be mobile testing from February, so if you participated in the technical test on iOS or Android before the open beta launched, you'll be able to get somewhat of a fix before the summer. As for the Black Hawk Down campaign, while its launch wasn't confirmed to coincide with the Delta Force Season 2 release, Team Jade had pegged a January 2025 release in a Steam post, so players expected the two to roll out simultaneously.
However, in a new post on the game's website, Team Jade says it needs a bit more time for "final polishing and optimization" to meet "our shared standards", and to that end, the Black Hawk Down campaign will launch during Delta Force Season 2 – likely in February rather than getting squeezed into the final two weeks of this month.
