Halle Berry, 58, vowed to empty her entire wardrobe in a bid to help those affected by the wildfires in Los Angeles. The actress responded to an open call by fellow actress Sharon Stone, 66. On Thursday, Sharon shared a video on Instagram inviting people to go to the shop COOP, where they could donate clothes and accessories to help those who’d been displaced and lost everything to the fires. Others could then go to the shop and collect the clothing for free.
Halle immediately responded to the video, writing: “I’m there. Bringing all I have!!” Real Housewives star Lisa Rinna also added: “Harry and I just dropped off lots of coats jeans sweaters etc… thank you for setting this up!”. The actress went on to share the video to her own page, and wrote: “I’m packing up my entire closet and heading over to the COOP! If you live in the Southern California area, I urge you to do the same. This is something we can do right now today to help all of the displaced families that are in need of the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you Lady.”.
In the comment section, many fans followed up to thank the actress and ask more questions about the donations. “Thank you Halle! Many members in my family lost homes including my late mother’s home. Gone,” one follower shared. Halle replied: “Omg. I’m so sorry. God bless you! I promise you I will continue to find ways to help!”.
