‘I am so uncomfortable’ beauty fans gasp at woman’s...

THOSE among us who enjoy a regular manicure will know the difficulty of coming up with a new style for each appointment. It's a job that can leave you scratching your head or surfing the internet for trendy inspo. But polished beauty lovers have been left shuddering at the sight of one woman's bizarre manicure choice.

The unusual nail style was posted online and had people cringing at the thought of its owner trying to put on a jumper. The group's bio describes it as a place for users to post their "WORST nails," telling users "no posting nails that clearly look nice! We ONLY want to see those raggedy a** nails!".

And it's fair to say its members hit the brief. This particular post, which made people's 'skin crawl,' was captioned: "Thanks, I hate it.". It showed a woman's clawed hand showing off her strange manicure style. Her nails had been, for the most part, trimmed down—but, creepily, oblong sections had been left protruding, giving the impression of each nail having its own pointer.

The edges were left sharp, with harsh angles jutting out. The colour was left natural, without polish (although it's hard to say if this would have made them look any less terrifying). Members of the group were left horrified, and flooded the comments with disapproval.

Some pointed out how difficult it would be to try to put a jumper on while donning the tab-like nails. "This actually turned my stomach for some reason," said one person. "This just made me skin crawl," groaned another. "Just because you saw it doesn’t mean we needed to," cried someone else.

"I’m so uncomfortable," one user cringed. "All I can think of is trying to put on a sweater," someone else moaned. "No, no ,no ,no and no...they will catch on every piece of clothing and fabric that's in a 3ft radius...and then rip off...this is just...blugh, so bad," someone else commented.
