A FITNESS fan thought everyone was staring at her because she was pushing hard in the gym, but she soon realised the truth when she looked in the mirror. Molly Mac, a gym enthusiast from Newcastle, a city in Australia, was left red-faced (literally) after her recent sweaty exercise session. Posting on social media, the blonde beauty shared a short clip after an intense workout, leaving many open-mouthed.

As she stood in the car park wearing a navy pair of gym leggings, some Hoka trainers and a grey top, which was covered in sweat, she attached the trending TikTok sound which says: ‘Oh my god, what is that?’. Alongside the now viral clip, Molly penned: “When you think people are staring at you in the gym because you are going hard.”. But seconds later, Molly turned to face the camera, showing off her bright red face.

To this, she claimed: “I think they were genuinely concerned I might explode.”. Not only this, but Molly also said: “What can I say, I’m a rosy gal”. The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @molly_macxx, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 4.1 million views. Social media users were left gobsmacked with the bright red shade of Molly’s face and many eagerly flocked to the comments to share their thoughts.
Not only did people compare her to Violet Beauregarde, a fictional character from Willy Wonka who turns a shade of violet after gnawing on some chewing gum, but others confessed that they too often go bright red after working out. One person said: “It’s giving Violet Beauregarde.”. Another added: “As a girl with rosacea I feel SEEN.”. A third commented: “My face is constantly like that! I've never met another person like me.”.
It’s giving Violet Beauregarde. Whilst someone else admitted: “As a ginger woman… I felt this in my soul.”. Another gym goer confessed: “My face turns into a tomato. It can be so embarrassing. I don’t get why it happens to some of us so badly.”. MANY of us will experience a red face during exercise, and there's a few reasons why... While redness is usually harmless and a normal response, if you experience excessive redness, dizziness, or discomfort, it's worth checking in with a healthcare professional, as it could point to an underlying issue.
