I’m married but let my hubby have hot dates in our family...

A WOMAN in an open marriage shared an insight into her unique relationship. The 42-year-old revealed both she and her husband bring dates over to their family home. In her viral video, TikTok user Andrea (@infinitepolyam) explained the approach she and her husband Brandon, 46, take to polyamory. The couple, who have been together for 24 years, first decided to open up their relationship when they were "very young".

Andrea explained she had always wanted more than one boyfriend as a teenager and it took her and Brandon two years to officially open their relationship. She explained since it was 2003, they couldn't resort to dating apps and had to meet people in the real world. Since then the pair, who share a daughter together, have pursued various relationships with other partners. Andrea revealed her longest relationship outside of her marriage was seven years while her husband's lasted four years.

She currently has a fiance, who she plans to make things "official" with an informal ceremony. The mum explained both she and her husband's partners are even welcome in their home. Since both of them have the power to veto, she said there has never been an issue. In fact, she even shared a clip of her interrupting her husband and his date in their bedroom. "My husband is in the bedroom with a date but I need to grab my gym bag," Andrea wrote.

She joked "they didn't seem to mind" as she sneaked in to get her workout gear. This easy-going attitude also applies to her relationship with her fiance's wife. Andrea revealed they regularly go on "metamour dates" to do things like getting pedicures. Metamour refers to a person who is romantically involved with your partner but you are not directly involved with them. Polyamory is the practice of having romantic relationships with more than one person at the same time, with the knowledge and consent of all parties.

It can refer to relationships where one person has multiple partners or spouses, or where all parties are in a relationship with each other, for example in a throuple. TikTok users shared their thoughts on the relationship in the comments section. "The world would be an extremely boring place if everyone was the same and liked the same things! You do you!" wrote one viewer. "I personally wouldn't be able to but I mean this is your life ! I don't know why people feel the need to judge!!!" Said another follower.
