There's plenty to look forward to on Emmerdale this Christmas Day, with spoilers hinting at a big episode. While it's only on for 30 minutes, at the early time of 6:30PM, there's so much to unpack. There's an epic return that will no doubt bring tears and joy.

Another family could be rocked by a devastating truth as one character is pushed to breaking point. Elsewhere there's hints of a death or a tragedy, as Home Farm is struck by a new eerie mystery.
There is an epic comeback set to air this Christmas, leaving one character overjoyed. Months ago bosses teased a surprise arrival would head to the village for the festive episodes, sending the rumour mill swirling. Now, it's been confirmed that Belle Dingle's beloved pooch Piper finally returning to the show. Fans will no doubt be thrilled by this, after Belle and Piper, played by the gorgeous Minnie, were torn apart amid her harrowing abuse ordeal.
Abusive husband Tom King deliberately ran over their dog before claiming she had died from her injuries. But viewers soon found out Piper was alive and that Tom had given her to a new family, claiming Belle had not looked after her. Prior to Christmas, Belle will discover Piper never really died. On Christmas Day, Belle visits her dad’s grave and soon she's overwhelmed with joy when Piper runs over to her, having been found by Vinny and Gabby.
