The Masked Singer's Pegasus has become the second contestant to be given the boot from the ITV guessing game show. Prue Leith was revealed to be hiding underneath the mask during Sunday's (January 5) episode, which also saw Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway exposed as Spaghetti Bolognese after Saturday (January 4) night's cliffhanger.

Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross were back on the panel once again with special guest Vicky McClure in a bid to work our which famous faces were under the outrageous outfits. Bush, Pufferfish, Pegasus, Wolf, Toad in the Hole and Bear all took to the stage for the first time in this series but it was Pegasus and Bush who failed to impress the studio audience and therefore found themselves in the bottom two.

After Bush was saved by the celebrity detectives, Pegasus was forced to take off their mask. However, before the big reveal, the panel shared who they thought was behind the mask. Mo guessed Jane Seymour OBE, David thought Elizabeth McGovern, Vicky suggested Clare Balding, Jonathan thought Prue Leith and Maya said Joanna Lumley but it was revealed that XXX star XXX was inside the mythical creature costume.

Speaking to Joel Dommett following the unmasking, Great British Bake Off star Prue revealed that she had singing lessons to take part in the show. However, Viewers were left all saying the same thing as Pegasus was forced to leave the competition. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: "#maskedsingeruk probably the easiest one ever.".
