The Masked Singer has revealed the celebrity behind Wolf in tonight's final, with the star coming in third place. Tonight's final of The Masked Singer saw Wolf, Dressed Crab and Pufferfish compete in a extended special episode, as judges Maya Jama, Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross were given one last chance to make their guesses. The celeb finalists took to the stage for three songs tonight after eight weeks of stunning performances, however it was Wolf who was revealed to be Marti Pellow.
Speaking to the celebrity panel after being unmasking, Marti said: "I've had a fantastic time, it's been an incredible experience for me, I've just thoroughly enjoyed it!". He then finished his time on the show by performing Love Is All Around, as requested by Davina McCall. Host Joel Dommett replied: "I have no authority, but I'm saying yes!". Throughout the competition, fans have shared their guesses for who was behind the canine crooner, with many convinced that it was Wet Wet Wet's Marti behind the mask earlier today.
One fan commented on X: "Who else had a song called Angel Eyes...Wet Wet Wet. Wolf is Marti Pellow. He hardly disguised his voice tonight." Another typed: "I've said it's Marti Pellow since I heard the first few lines sung weeks ago. Never once been mentioned by the panel, then tonight when Maya said Angel Eyes I thought at last. Then she said ABBA, I give up.". However, some viewers were sure that it was none other than Bridget Jones star Hugh Grant inside the costume, with the actor having flexed his singing muscles in Music and Lyrics with Drew Barrymore.
"Wolf Hugh Grant maybe," one fan wrote on social media. Whilst another echoed: "Wolf - Hugh Grant.". Making their debut in week two, Wolf won round the judges with his performances of songs like David Bowie's Let's Dance, Copacabana by Barry Manilow and more recently, Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House. The Masked Singer's 2025 series started off with 12 disguised celebrities as Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway became the first to be unmasked as Spag Bol.
She was shortly followed by Bake Off's Prue Leith as Pegasus, singer Carol Decker as Tattoo, Grayson Perry and Kingfisher and EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy as Bush. In week three, singer Macy Gray was uncovered as Toad in the Hole - however, the star shocked viewers when she refused to take off her mask and in unaired scenes, stormed off stage. A TV source told The Mirror after the episode aired that Macy refused to answer questions for a Q&A after her unmasking. "It is normal for the celebs to answer some questions for a Q&A sent out by ITV but Macy didn't do it. This is only second time in history of the show this has happened so it shows how unhappy she was after the show," they said.
