Jonathan Ross fans are about to see the famous talk show legend like they've never seen him before. Across his illustrious career in television, Jonathan has had the opportunity to converse with the great and the good of the entertainment world. However, new TV series, Jonathan Ross: Haunted Homecoming, sees the much-loved TV star return to the scene of his youth for a chilling trip down memory lane, with the opportunity to communicate with beings even more out of reach than the Hollywood A-listers he is so accustomed to - the supernatural.
He has long been known for his fascination with horror and the macabre, but when he revisits his old stomping ground in the East End, exploring its darker real-life secrets and looking for evidence of the paranormal, he finds himself in his very own scary movie.
Joined in his paranormal adventure by psychic medium Ian Lawman and paranormal investigator and historian Dr Kate Cherrell, Jonathan recalls a terrifying childhood incident down in the cellar of the very house he grew up in in Leytonstone, before taking to nearby Epping Forest, where events take a sinister, unexpected turn in the darkness.
At the famed Hitchcock Hotel on Wanstead Flats, things get more tense as a malign presence enters its most foreboding room and they unlock ghostly secrets of one of his old local pubs. In one scene, the crew seem concerned while in the woods as they struggle to get hold of Jonathan. Dr Kate says "I don't want to make things worse but I think we've lost Jonathan. I've lost Jonathan, he's just walked into the woods and hasn't come back.".
