A former employee has sued Kanye West for allegedly firing her after insulting her looks and texting her ‘Hail Hitler’. West, who now goes by Ye, recently deactivated his X account after launching into three days of horrific rants in which he said he was a ‘Nazi’. This came as the rapper’s website was taken offline after he deleted everything on it other than a single $20 T-shirt that featured a swastika symbol.

The employee, only identified as Jane Doe, has now filed a lawsuit against West over his antisemitism, according to Variety. After being hired as a marketing strategist in December 2023, the woman, who is Jewish, was subjected to antisemitic language and fired twice. The suit claims that West apologised in Hebrew for his comments but weeks later his behaviour continued to spiral. When she approached him about denouncing any ties to Nazism ahead of his album launch, via another employee, he allegedly responded over text ‘I Am A Nazi’.

According to the lawsuit, Doe was fired in March but was then rehired quickly at double her salary. In June, he then reportedly text her and others: ‘What the F**k Is Everybody Here Getting Paid?’. After this, the lawsuit claims he launched into a rant over text, berating her repeatedly, comparing himself to Hitler, and praising the dictator. West is accused of then continuing to attack her, calling her ugly, stupid, and a ‘b***h’, texting her saying: ‘Come destroy me b***h.’.

Doe alleges she was then fired for a second time the following day, claiming gender and religious discrimination and wrongful termination. In a statement, her lawyer, Carney Shegerian, said: ‘Ye waged a relentless and deliberate campaign of antisemitism and misogyny against my client. His appalling treatment of women and fixation on Nazism, evident in abusive texts where he repeatedly calls himself Hitler, expose his motives.

‘We need to stop excusing Ye’s behaviour. As a father, husband, and employer, he must be held accountable. ‘Ye dared my client to sue, and we will see him in court.’. West has been increasingly erratic in recent years, with a number of employees and collaborators cutting ties. Addidas, Balenciaga, Madame Tussauds, and his talent agency CAA all announced they would be stepping away from dealings with the rapper.
Booking agent 33&West also announced after the X rant that they would be parting ways with him in a statement on Instagram. ‘Effective immediately, I’m no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for,’ wrote agent Daniel McCartney on Monday, February 10. ‘Peace and love to all.’. Ex-wife and mother of his children Kim Kardashian has remained silent on the matter, although it is said to be causing friction in the family.
An insider told Daily Mail that Scott Disick, ex-husband of Kourtney Kardashian, is ‘absolutely infuriated’ by her reluctance to speak out. They continued: ‘He has had it with Kanye and takes personal offence to his attack on the Jewish community.’. ‘The fact that Kim has not said anything, nor anyone in the family, upsets Scott,’ the source continued. ‘As a father, he believes that Kanye is setting a horrible example for his children, who are pretty much all old enough to access what is going on.’.
In episodes of their reality show, Kim did touch on the predicament stating she didn’t want to be bad-mouthing her children’s father publicly.
