Kanye West bragged about his whopping net worth on social media a few years after losing billions of dollars in one day. A few years ago, Ye claimed he was 'months away' from declaring bankruptcy after losing $2billion in one day when Adidas ended their partnership with Yeezy. At the time, he was also criticised for his many outbursts and White Lives Matter t-shirts at his Paris Fashion Week show.
After regaining his wealth, the rapper took to his Instagram to confirm his net worth. Over a plain white page, the text wrote: "In 2025, Kanye's net work stands at $2.77billion US as confirmed by Eton Venture Services. The valuation is based on his music portfolio and his sole ownership of the Yeezy mark.".
He captioned the post: "LAA LA LA LA." Last year, he shelled out millions on some advertising space during the Super Bowl, and he later took to social media to say it paid off as he gained $19million in sales. "I'm just be honest with y'all. I was two months from going bankrupt, and I put everything I had into it [the album and the Super Bowl advert]," he said, referring to his Vulture album.
Kanye claimed as his money started to dwindle, he moved to Italy with his wife Bianca Censori. He said: "We moved to Italy. We moved to the factories, and we survived. We survived through the cancellation. We're back number one.". Earlier this month, the singer made a dig at brand Adidas. Kanye collaborated with Adidas to create the Yeezy line, which significantly boosted Adidas' sales and brand image. However, in 2022, Adidas ended the partnership due to remarks Kanye made that were considered antisemitic.
