Summary at a Glance

Call The Midwife's Natalie Quarry's life from previous roles to brave request Natalie Quarry, known for her role as Rosalind Clifford in the latest series of Call the Midwife, is making waves on BBC One with the show's first-ever two-part festive special.

Although best recognised for her role in Call the Midwife, Quarry has also showcased her acting skills in Doctors and Atlanta, and made an appearance in the short film The Silent Canary.

Quarry joined the cast in its 13th season as a fresh student midwife and confessed her affection for the show dates back to her teenage years.

Reflecting on Call the Midwife being her most significant role so far, she shared with Radio Times: "When my agent called to tell me, I'd just been to an exercise class and I started sobbing.".

So (episode one) is kind of a weird sort of full circle moment to me being big-headed and being like 'I'd be good in Call the Midwife'.".
