Katie Price is reportedly being paid a huge five-figure salary after teaming up with her friend, Kerry Katona, for their pantomime gig. The ex glamour model, 46, and the former Atomic Kitten singer, 44, are starring in a production of Cinderella together at Northwich Memorial Court theatre this month. Demand for tickets has been huge since Katie and Kerry were revealed as stars of the show, in which they play the wicked step-sisters.
A statement on the official Instagram page for the theatre said it sold the highest number of tickets they have ever sold in a single day after the casting was announced. And now, it has been claimed that Katie, who was declared bankrupt for the first time in 2019 and then for the second time in 2023, is being paid £50,000 for the Christmas gig.
An insider told The Sun: "Katie knows her worth and she won't take a penny less. Despite everything she's a shrewd negotiator and her name still has some pull when it comes to booking gigs. "The panto organisers are thrilled with the response to Katie and Kerry being in the show so far and in their eyes it's money well spent." Earlier today, Katie said she is "so proud" of her friend Kerry who is dealing with the aftermath of her break-up from fiancé Ryan Mahoney.
Last night, Kerry shared a video on social media in which she opened up about her feelings and expressed her gratitude for Katie's support in recent weeks. Kerry said she returned home late after having a meet and greet last night - and she thanked her fans for turning up in huge numbers.
