Kerry Katona has revealed she's in the "best relationship of her life" after splitting from her fiance Ryan Mahoney in November, who she had been in a relationship with since 2018. The former Atomic Kitten star , 44, revealed in November that Ryan had left their shared Cheshire home following a 'breach of trust', and has been open about her heartbreak ever since.
But now, it seems the person who has put a spring back in Kerry's step is herself - as she said in her weekly OK! column: "I’m a single woman and am in the best relationship of my life, which is with myself." Kerry also detailed how she no longer feels heartbroken and knows fitness trainer Ryan wasn't the one.
She wrote: "I’m feeling really good going into 2025 – it’s going to be a great year. I’m not heartbroken any more and feel like I know that Ryan wasn’t the one for me. I’m a single woman and am in the best relationship of my life, which is with myself. I know people do things like Dry January and diets, but I don’t drink much anyway and like to work on myself every day, so I’m not into any of that. I’m just going to take it easy this month.".
After meeting online in 2018, personal trainer Ryan popped the question to Kerry in 2021, and the couple appeared to be going strong. However, the relationship went downhill earlier this year when Kerry admitted she felt “unsupported” by her fiancé during her mum’s health battle. While she initially insisted the pair would work through their differences, she later confirmed Ryan had left the family home after what she called a “breach of trust”.
