The host of a 00s children’s game show has urged the BBC to reboot his series. Airing on CBBC from 2002 until 2010, the adventure game show Raven ran for ten seasons and three spin-offs. Originally hosted by James Mackenzie, he played a character called Raven, an ancient, immortal Scottish warlord who could shapeshift and was tasked with leading six children, known as warriors, through a series of challenges over five days.

Throughout the various stages, the group would lose the least successful warrior, until two go through to the final week to compete for the title of Ultimate Warrior. After the success of another game show filmed in Scotland – The Traitors – James has now called on the BBC to consider bringing Raven back.
