Kyle Walker and Annie Kilner are eyeing up a move to Italy. The news comes just days after the Manchester City defender asked to to leave the club this month. Walker was left out of City's squad for the FA Cup win over Salford, after boss Pep Guardiola revealed the 34-year-old right-back wants to leave after eight years. AC Milan have emerged as the favourites to sign Walker, with Guardiola admitting any deal has to be right for City as well as the England international. "I don't know," said Pep, when asked if he will select Walker while his future remains unresolved. "It depends on how we are going to train. It depends on him.

"The situation is different now, but the transfer window will finish when it finishes and I don't know what's going to happen. I said to Kyle now it's a question of the market. He is an incredible player, with incredible physicality and when he's focused he's unstoppable as a right-back.".

Now, sources claim that Walker is setting his sights on Inter Milan, despite AC Milan also expressing an interest in him. On Friday, the Mirror revealed that Kyle and Annie were putting their "divorce plans" to the back of their minds and were firmly focused on their relationship as they prepared for a new chapter in their life.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Neither of them know what the future holds. But they're hopeful a switch to Italy will give them the breathing space they desperately need to see if things can be worked out. It's been impossible to do that in England due to the pressure they've been under for the last 12 months.
