One Love Island couple has been dealt a huge blow just hours before the final of the hit show. The latest All Stars series is coming to an end tonight, with just five couples left on the show. In shock scenes yesterday evening, Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore were sent packing from the villa - just hours before the final. There are just five couples left - including Grace Jackson and Luca Bish, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Curtis Pritchard, Gabby Allen and Casey O'Gorman, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame and Elma Pazar and Sammy Root.
New odds have been revealed ahead of the final, with Grace and Luca the favourite to win at 4/6 and Ekin-Su and Curtis and Gabby and Casey following with odds of 2/1 and 3/1 respectively. Catherine and Omar follow far behind on 16/1 whilst Elma and Sammy follow further behind that with 25/1 and thus are the least likely to win. Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "It's been non-stop drama in the villa this series, and with three couples well in with a chance of going all the way tonight, we wouldn't be surprised to see a few more twists and turns before close of play.".
Last night, the former Islanders returned to issue their verdict and sent Harriett and Ronnie home in shock scenes. Asked how she felt about it, Harriett said of the exit: "The easiest thing to say is that we did it [had a relationship] before. I was just a bit hurt because my friends were sat there and the people who helped me through my journey and tried to make me trust Ronnie again, threw it back in my face and said it wasn’t going to work.".
Ronnie then added: "The fake comments are crazy - did you see how much I was grafting? It’s mad. Even until last week I was still doing it, every day. We fully split up. Everyone’s going to have an opinion but the real opinion is me and H. That’s all I care about.". Elsewhere, there was more drama in the villa when Casey reportedly had to be checked over by medics after suffering a nasty head injury when he briefly passed out during a break in the villa.
It was reported he had "bashed his head" after fainting and was checked by medics. A source said yesterday: "All of a sudden Casey felt wobbly and then passed out. He bashed his head on the way down and everyone rushed to attend him. Everything is manic at the moment getting the content needed working up to Monday’s final so losing such a key cast member as Casey wasn’t ideal.". Scott Thomas also failed to return to the villa for the end of the series. Whilst the other Islanders returned to make their big decision, Scott was noticeably missing, with a source sharing: "Scott didn’t want to go back in after quitting, so he told ITV no to flying back out. He achieved everything he wanted to on the show and didn’t see any point in going back. He just wants to focus on his business now.".
