Reuben Collins has spoken up for his ex after scandalous accusations were made against her in the villa, calling them “fake.”. In the penultimate episode of Love Island, former contestants India Reynolds, Olivia Hawkins, Marcel Somerville, Kaz Crossley, Montel McKenzie, Nas Majeed, Ron Hall, Danielle Sellers, Samie Elishi, Tina Stinnes and Chuggs Wallis all returned to the villa to help decide which couples would make it to tonight’s final.
After a public vote, Catherine Agbaje and Omar Nyame, alongside Elma Pazar and Sammy Root, and Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint were at risk of being dumped, with the islanders choosing which couple to send packing from the ITV show. Despite Grace Jackson and Luca Bish not being in the running to leave, Olivia said that she’d have “swapped” them out to make them leave, and warned Luca that Grace was playing games with him.
"So I've seen text messages of Grace just saying to someone that she'll do whatever it takes to win the show this time from someone back home," she divulged, leaving the islanders in shock. Harriett stood up for Grace after saying that Olivia had made moves on her man, claiming: "She probably made it up babe, like she did with Ronnie." Grace agreed, and told Luca: "Baby, that is absolutely not true. I do not care about winning this show.".
When Grace pressed her to find out who showed her the messages, Liv said: "I've seen the screenshots. I'm not saying who.". Harriett came to Grace's defence, telling Liv: "Babe, you've made it up like you've made up that Ronnie was into you. F***ing go home, honestly. Is she alright?". However, Samie Elishi - who did compete with Grace for Luca's affections in the villa - was next to join the conversation. "We have seen the screenshots," she said.
Grace doubled down on her denial despite Samie's words. "On my life, I have never written that sentence in my life. It's b******t, and someone's forged that, that's not true. I am gobsmacked," she said. Harriett added: "Liv's probably texted herself and used it as an answer. Babe, we all know you wouldn't do that.". Grace formerly dated Reuben when they were on the show together last year, and despite not staying together he showed he came to his defence on Instagram after the shocking scene, writing “FAKE NEWS.”.
While Olivia couldn’t vote for Grace and Luca to be kicked out despite her accusations, she did have plenty to say about Harriett and Ronnie, who were ultimately dumped from the villa. The couple spoke to Maya Jama on their way out, and Harriett admitted that she was shocked by the experience. "I know that Liv had a few opinions, because obviously she tried to speak to Ronnie in the past. So I kind of accepted that vote. But a few friends in there, like Sammy Tina, I didn't expect those girls to vote for us,” she said.
