What you do with your body is entirely up to you, but some things do require a discussion with your partner. We all have agency over our bodies and the freedom to decide what we want to do with them. If you want to get piercings or tattoos, then that's your decision, no matter what anyone else thinks. However, there are some things that you should discuss with your significant other if you have one.
One of the bodily changes that should be discussed with your partner before you go through with them are things that affect your reproductive system, such as deciding to have a vasectomy or even going on long-lasting forms of birth control, as discussions may need to be had surrounding your views on starting a family or having more children.
This is why one woman was left fuming when she discovered her husband had gone behind her back to donate his sperm after she had explicitly told him she wasn't okay with the idea. While it is his body, she believes her feelings should have been taken into account, and she's livid now that she knows she was ignored.
In a post on Reddit, the woman claimed her husband had actually donated sperm once before when they were approached by two of their friends who were having difficulty conceiving. The woman and her husband both signed a donor agreement to cover that specific pregnancy, and the couple were able to welcome healthy twins.
Since then, the woman and her husband had a "falling out" with the couple after they realised they were "toxic" and treated the woman "horribly". Two years ago, they reached out to ask her husband to donate more sperm to give their twins a sibling, and the woman said she wouldn't be happy with it - but recently found out her husband did it anyway.
