Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) was terribly paranoid after attacking Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) in Emmerdale. Yesterday, Laurel popped by Nicola’s (Nicola Wheeler) house only to find her being confronted by Anthony. A few moments prior, Nicola had been told by Chas (Lucy Pargeter) that Anthony shouldn’t be around children.

Nicola then raced home to stop Anthony from continuing his tutoring session with Angelica (Rebecca Bakes). Once Angelica left, Nicola put forward the accusations, and Anthony denied them all. Nicola threatened to call Ruby (Beth Cordingly), which sparked Anthony’s anger. He grabbed Nicola and tried to take her phone, but was stopped by Laurel – who had hit Anthony over the head with a candlestick.

In tonight’s episode, Laurel remained in a panic as Anthony disappeared from the village. Unbeknownst to her, he had been driven to a barn by Caleb (William Ash), and was having a gun pointed at him. Because Laurel had no idea this was happening, it caused her mind to spiral.
