The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn’t aired on ITV yet, but is available to view on ITVX. Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) has confirmed to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) that she killed Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) in Emmerdale. Aaron attacked sex abuser Anthony last week after learning what he did to Ruby. As a victim of sex abuse himself, Aaron unleashed his anger on the evil man after being completely pushed to the edge.

When Aaron and John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) returned to the depot later that day, they discovered Anthony dead. This left Aaron utterly convinced he had killed him, not taking into consideration someone may have visited the depot in the period of time he wasn’t there. And that someone was Ruby. Up Next. At the end of yesterday’s episode, we saw Aaron at rock bottom. He had become completely consumed with guilt and was contemplating self harm. The mental anguish he was in during the opening scenes of tonight’s instalment took Aaron to Mill Cottage. There, he opened up to Ruby and explained he had attacked Anthony after he made some horrible comments about the abuse. Ruby felt awful seeing Aaron in such a state and told him that he did not kill Anthony – she did.

A flashback scene allowed us to discover that Ruby visited the depot just as Aaron left following the attack. She found Anthony on the floor, and proceeded to suffocate him after he tried to grab her. She returned home and told Caleb (William Ash), who went to the depot to dispose of Anthony’s body. When he got there though, he worked out John and Aaron had hidden the man’s body first. Eagle-eyed Caleb spotted Anthony’s tooth on the floor and immediately hid it. The couple later explained to Aaron that it was never their intention to allow him to think he’d be going to prison.

Despite this, his anger was still growing. Aaron very nearly called Steph (Georgia Jay), but was stopped in his tracks when Ruby revealed Caleb isn’t Steph’s father. He was confused for a moment, but Aaron then realised to his horror that it meant Anthony is. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? Who’s leaving Coronation Street? John arrived and eventually, the four of them sat down for a chat. They all agreed to a cover story regarding Anthony, and knew Steph mustn’t ever find out. The group were then interrupted by the arrival of Chas (Lucy Pargeter). Aaron made it perfectly clear that he wasn’t going to lie to his mum, and then updated her.

As traumatic as the day was for Aaron and Ruby, it appears they’ve accepted where things will go next. Anthony is dead, the villagers think he’s disappeared, and Steph is none the wiser.
