Ruben Amorim has admitted he is under pressure at Old Trafford. The Portuguese laid bare the reality of his tenure so far after a Boxing Day beating in the Black Country. “I know the business I’m in. If we don’t win, regardless of whether they pay the buy-out or not, every manager is in danger. I like that. That is our job. I understand the question. You can see I’m here for one month but we are not winning. “That’s a reality. I’m quite comfortable with that.” After a week in which the roof is slowly caving in on everything at Manchester United, it is unsure whether his paymasters are approaching the matter in quite the same way.
