Rocker Ronnie Wood looks set to be join pal Sir Rod Stewart on stage at Glastonbury this summer. Fans will once again descend on Worthy Farm in Somerset from June 25 to 29 with the Maggie May hitmaker to return in the 'legends' slot on the Sunday afternoon. Bosses are drip-feeding acts and last month confirmed Neil Young will also take to the Pyramid Stage. They won't be the only ones rolling back the years and Ronnie has also been booked, it has been claimed. Rod and the former Stones star were spotted together in Mayfair for Rod’s 80th birthday bash last month and insiders say it's a done deal.

Rod was Ronnie’s best man at his 2012 wedding to theatre producer Sally Humphreys. He confirmed his Pyramid Stage gig on social media last year, writing: “After all these years, I’m proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury.”. Now a festival source told The Sun: “Rod is really excited about his big Worthy Farm gig and wanted to give a nod to the beginning of his career, so thought it would be fitting to bring out Ronnie. He knows the pair of them together will be a huge crowd pleaser.".

Could there be a superstar joining them in the green room? Beyoncé's odds to headline at Glastonbury Festival have been slashed as the star announced her Cowboy Carter tour. The Texas Hold 'Em singer, 43, last performed in the UK in 2023 on the Renaissance World Tour, which saw her play five dates at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. And this summer, she's returning to the stadium to perform on the 5th, 7th, 10th and 12th June this year.

After her gigs in London, Beyoncé is flying over to Paris 19 and 21 before returning to Houston for a gig on 28. That leaves the star a few days to possibly surprise fans at Glastonbury, which is happening between 25 and 29 June. It may be a tight squeeze if she were to perform on Friday 27 June, but it's nothing a mega superstar hasn't done before. Leading bookmaker Coral says they have seen strong support for her to headline Glastonbury 2025, and have slashed her odds to 2-1 (from 10-1) to be confirmed as one of the artists set to play the festival this summer. “We know Beyoncé will be heading across to London for her Cowboy Carter tour this summer, and that may not be her only visit, as we have seen strong support for Queen B to be one of the headline acts at Glastonbury," said Coral's John Hill.

Other odds include 1-5 for Charli XCX, 4-5 for Stevie Wonder, 5-4 for Nile Rodgers, 6-4 for Olivia Rodrigo, 7-4 for Chappell Roan, 2-1 for Ed Sheeran, 2-1 for Foo Fights, and 9-4 for Harry Styles. Beyoncé was originally going to announce her tour in January but postponed it due to the "devastation" of the California wildfires. Like this story?
