The Apprentice star Keir Shave has revealed one move left him "annoyed.". During last week's episode, Leeds-born Keir was brought back into the boardroom by Nadia Suliaman who was task manager for the third task. The entrepreneurs found themselves tasked with turning food into cash. The team led by Nadia were given potatoes to turn into tasty snacks in order to sell to people moving across London.

Nadia made the decision for her team to sell bangers and mash, despite her teammates pushing to sell potato skins on the street and roasted potatoes for corporate clients. She also went for meat sausages, despite vegetarian alternatives being a much cheaper option. Meanwhile, the team headed by Mia Collins had tomatoes, choosing to sell pizzas on the street and also flogging bruschetta for corporate clients.

But Nadia's move was far more unsuccessful than she'd have liked, losing £73.40. Following their loss, she dragged Keir and Jana back into the boardroom with her – but even them, things didn't work in her favour. "I don't know if I'd use the word shocked, I had a feeling that I was going to try and be brought back in," Keir exclusively told the Mirror.

The telemarketing businessman went on to add: "I'd probably say a little bit annoyed, I don't believe I should have been brought back in at that time. My sub team actually sold the most revenue than all four sub teams, including the other team. I wasn't worried that I was going to be going." Lord Sugar wasted no time when the trio returned to the boardroom, instantly firing Nadia fuming: "Nadia, you've left me nowhere to go unfortunately, you're fired.".

"It was pretty quick," Keir said of the firing. "It was pretty shocking that it was that fast," he went on to add. During Lord Sugar's decision making, Keir was praised by his advisors, Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell MBE, with Brady saying she was "impressed" – a move Keir admits is "very rare." "I don't think that's ever happened, I was very happy with that," he exclaimed.

Throughout the competition, the contestants all live in the same house – while going against one another. But Keir says there's an "unspoken rule", that whatever happens in the boardroom, stays there, allowing friendships to flourish away from the cameras. "Everyone knows what they signed up for, I don't think it affects anything at the house as much," he said.

Lord Sugar, Baroness Brady and Tim often appear intimidating on screen to viewers but this couldn't be further from the truth. "I twas pretty nerve-racking," he said of meeting them for the first time, adding: "Once you do get to know them, they're not as scary as they first started, especially Tim, Tim was really good to get to know through the process. He's a really down to earth, good guy.".

Each episode, fans see one hour but the filming takes around three or four days, with the boardroom scenes lasting hours on end. "It's not the best of days, unless you win," Keir laughed. As a proud Northerner, Keir says there has been a "strong presence" of northern business owners but admits he has "big boots" to fill.

"This season, I was one of two, maybe three from up north – and I think two of them don't live up north anymore," he revealed before adding: "I was the only one representing the north." Despite having a successful business, Keir admits that the show could be a "challenge" due to being thrown into the mix with people he wouldn't necessarily work with.

The businessman admits that his application process was "really fast" but parts were also "really slow". After his final stage, he says it felt as though he waited to hear if he'd made the final round of contestants for "weeks and weeks". He added: "The whole process was fun, it gave us a nice breather into what to expect. To even get on was a massive achievement, I was very happy when I got the call to say I did make it.".
