The Masked Singer kicked off its sixth series on Saturday night, and fans were quick to speculate about the identity of one of the stars. The popular ITV guessing game began with a group song as this year's celebrities made their debut in their eccentric costumes.

As they belted out the Spice Girls' hit Who Do You Think You Are, viewers were convinced that one contestant had already revealed themselves through their distinctive voice. Fans took to social media to share their theories, claiming they had identified Kingfisher from just one line of the song.

Viewers are adamant that comedy legend Harry Hill, famed for his TV Burp show and physical comedy, is the man behind the mask. One fan posted on social media: "I hear Harry Hill," while another agreed: "From that one opening line, the weird bird is Harry Hill?.".

"One of those just sounded like Harry Hill," commented a third viewer. A fourth chimed in: "That bird is Harry Hill." A fifth viewer added: "The blue bird is Harry Hill, surely? #themaskedsinger," reports Birmingham Live. Other viewers believe the mystery celebrity is either Bob Mortimer or Paul Whitehouse due to their successful BBC show Gone Fishing.

Harry Hill, whose real name is Matthew Keith Hall, launched his career in stand-up after years of working as a medical doctor. He is recognised for his browline glasses and a dress shirt with a unique oversized collar and cuffs. He bagged the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer at the 1992 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, kick-starting his career in radio and television comedy with Harry Hill's Fruit Corner on the airwaves.
