It's been keeping the nation guessing for several weeks now and after the shock reveal of T’Pau singer Carol Decker as Tattoo during Superhero Week, it seems that it's time for Kingfisher to leave The Masked Singer this weekend. With four characters now gone home and eight left to continue with their performances, it looks like the end is in sight for the feathered figure on Saturday, January 25, according to bookies.

And while Harry Hill, Daniel Radcliffe and Bob Mortimer are all named as possibilities behind the mask, online bookmaker Betway has named gardening expert and TV legend Alan Titchmarsh as the favourite to be revealed as Kingfisher. Following strong performances of Rainbow Connection and Iris so far, the veteran gardener and Ground Force star is the 2/1 favourite to be behind the mask. Comedian Harry Hill and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe are have odds of 4/1 and 5/1 respectively.

Elsewhere Bob Mortimer (7/1), Paul Whitehouse (10/1), and Jonny Vaughn (10/1) are also in the running to be behind the mask. Mike Reading, spokesperson at Betway, said: “On Saturday, fans of The Masked Singer are in for a treat as all eight remaining characters will return to perform together for the very first time, bringing us closer to uncovering the next celebrity behind the mask.
