It's almost time for the fan-favourite show, The White Lotus, to return to our screens for another dramatic season in another sunny resort. In season three, a new batch of guests travel to an exclusive resort in Koh Samui, Thailand, for the holiday of their lives. In recent trailers, Belinda (Natasha Rothwell), who was in season one, is being welcomed into the resort by a hotel staff member, played by none other than Lisa from Blackpink.
Directed and written by Mike White, the dark comedy returns to HBO on Sunday, February 16 at 9pm. Fans in the UK don't have long to wait and can tune in on NOW or Sky Atlantic from 2am on Monday, February 17. New episodes will air weekly after the long-awaited premiere this weekend. Season three has yet to begin but a fourth season has already been green lit, with filming beginning to take place in 2026. It is still unclear where the next instalment will take place but season one was based in Hawaii and season two was based in Sicily, Italy.
Blackpink's Lalisa makes her acting debut in the new series, which is filmed in her home country of Thailand. Although she's played many sold-out concerts and been part of many huge projects and music videos, Lisa recently admitted she was nervous ahead of filming for the show. “I’m so nervous. I was sweating,” Lisa said to Rolling Stone at the premiere. "I was like, ‘I can’t remember my lines.’ I’m blanked." She continued: "It is my first acting [experience] so I don’t know what to expect on set, but everybody just being so supportive helped me a lot. So thank you, everyone.".
Sky has just launched the Sky Glass Gen 2, its new smart TV with a brighter 4K QLED display and enhanced seven-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system. Available to order now, it comes in three screen sizes from 43" to 65", with prices starting at £14 per month. Other stars in this series include Leslie Bibb as Kate, Carrie Coon as Lauria, Walton Goggins as Rick Hatchett, Sarah Catherine Hook as Piper Ratliff, Jason Isaacs as Timothy Ratliff, Patrick Schwarzenegger as Saxton Ratliff and Michelle Monaghan as Jaclyn. Sex Education star Aimee Lou Wood stars as Chelsea.
Speaking about leaving her comfort zone to film the show, Aimee said: "It was so beautiful, beyond beautiful, like nothing I’ve ever seen before. It was so hard to even process and fathom that it was real. I would wake up, open my curtains and see actual paradise. I’m so grateful because I probably never would have taken myself to Thailand, and I would have missed out on an experience that was so special. I’m so glad that I got this job and had this experience because it forces me to explore more, and I need a bit of forcing.”.
