The White Lotus viewers can’t wait for one star’s highly-anticipated acting debut in the upcoming third season of HBO and Sky’s anthology murder mystery drama. A new full trailer has been released this week, teasing more opulent and scandalous high-jinks with the wealthy elite leading up to another enigmatic murder.
Season three will feature a brand new crop of characters, with the likes of Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey filling out the main cast. This instalment, premiering in February, will be set in Thailand and is said to be a satirical take on death and Eastern spirituality.
Fans are also eagerly anticipating the return of Natasha Rothwell as Belinda Lindsey, the spa manager from the first season who was given a new lease of life. However, the majority of viewers reacting to the new trailer on YouTube are all excited about one particular star who’ll be making her acting debut in the hit drama.
K-pop sensation Lalisa Manobal, better known as Lisa from the internationally successful girl group Blackpink, will portray Mook, a health mentor who greets the guests and treats them to a stunning traditional Thai performance in the trailer. Following the full trailer’s release this Monday (27th January), eager fans took to the comments in anticipation of what’s expected to be Lisa’s breakout role as an actress.
