Jack Reacher is set to return to screens this month in a brand-new season of the hit action series. Reacher season three continues the saga based on Lee Child’s best-selling book series, with the new episodes based on the seventh novel in the book series, 2003’s Persuader. As per the official synopsis, the eight-part season re-joins veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher as he hurtles into the dark heart of a vast criminal enterprise when trying to rescue an undercover DEA informant whose time is running out. There he finds a world of secrecy and violence and confronts some unfinished business from his own past.

Alongside returning star Alan Ritchson in the titular role, season three also sees Maria Sten reprise her role as Frances Neagley. They are joined by newcomers to the series Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Olivier Richters and Daniel David Stewart. Reacher has been one of the most successful Amazon series of all time since its 2022 debut, which quickly became one of Prime Video’s top five most watched original seasons ever. Its second instalment – which boasts a near-perfect 98% Rotten Tomatoes score – was Prime’s most-watched title of 2023 within five days of its premiere. In October, it was announced that Reacher will return for a fourth season, while a spin-off series focusing on Frances Neagley is also in the works. But until then, here’s when Reacher season three is released and how to watch it for free.

Reacher season three will launch Thursday, February 20, with the first three episodes. Subsequent episodes will drop every Thursday through to the finale on March 27. TV lovers can get 30 days' free access to binge tantalising TV like The Boys and The Rings of Power by signing up to Amazon Prime. Just remember to cancel at the end and you won't be charged. Reacher season three will be available to stream for free with an Amazon Prime subscription or by signing up for an Amazon Prime 30-day free trial. Prime usually costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year and comes with a host of benefits like next day delivery, Amazon Music Prime, Deliveroo Plus and free delivery on HelloFresh orders for a year, but members can try it for 30 days without paying a penny.

Amazon also offers Prime Video without the added Prime benefits for £5.99 a month after a 30-day free trial. Elsewhere, Disney+ is set to debut the latest series from Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight. Premiering on February 21, A Thousand Blows stars Stephen Graham as a dangerous bare-knuckle boxer in 1800s London. Fans can watch the show for £4.99 per month or get two months free by paying for a year upfront on the Standard or Premium plan, which provides 12 months for the price of 10.
