A WOMAN in her 20s was "sexually assaulted" and "punched" by a group of men in the early hours. Cops have released an image to assist with the investigation in Farnborough, Hampshire. Officers were called around 2am on February 2 to Gordon Road in Aldershot town centre. She was assaulted over her clothing and suffered injuries to her face and legs. Cops have released an image of a man they are hoping to question in relation to the incident.

In a press released they described him as being aged between 35 and 45 and of Asian descent. The man was wearing a black puffer jacket and jeans and has medium dark hair. Hampshire Police released a statement saying: "We are appealing for witnesses and information following reports of a sexual assault in Aldershot town centre. "Officers were called to a report that a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted over her clothing by a group of men on Gordon Road at around 2am on Sunday 2 February.
"The woman was also punched and suffered injuries to her face and legs. "Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out a number of enquiries and are working hard to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident. "We are hoping to speak with a man (pictured) who may have vital information which could help with our enquiries. "He has been described as being Asian, aged between 35 and 45, between 5ft 8ins and 6ft tall, of medium build with black hair. He was wearing a black puffer jacket and blue jeans.
