The thrilling world of Pokémon is coming to London in the form of a pop-up next month. The last time Pokémon Center pop-up store appeared in the UK was during the 2024 Pokémon Europe International Championships last April. No competitor or spectator badge will be needed to enter the pop-up store, which will be accessible to the general public. However, fans will need to make a reservation to enter the store.
All details are below. The Pokémon pop-up store will be open from Thursday February 20 to Sunday February 23. On Thursday it will be open between 10am and 6pm, on Friday and Saturday from 9am to 6pm and on Sunday from 9am to 5pm. The opening times mean fans will have plenty of opportunity to view Charmander, Jigglypuff and Pidgey, as well as other characters.
The event will be returning to ExCel Centre in east London after a successful run at the venue last year. With previous events including a hugely popular Pikachu wearing a bowler hat, there will be an abundance of items prepared for the occasion. The Pokémon pop-up store is coming to London as part of the 2025 Pokémon Europe International Championships (EUIC).
The event will feature competitions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, Pokémon Go and Pokémon Unite. Contestants will compete for valuable championship points, which will decide who gets invited to the 2025 Pokémon World Championships in August in Anaheim, California.
