Abbie Chatfield recently announced that she would be taking a break from all social media, only to return just five hours later. The FBoy Island star, 29, shared the news that she was 'deleting the apps' via her Instagram story on Boxing Day, following a heartfelt video of a gift exchange with her boyfriend, Adam Hyde.
In the video, Abbie began by acknowledging that some people might not care about her break, saying, 'There will be people who are like: "No one cares."'. 'I'm just letting you all know, if you do care, that I'm not going to be on social media for another week,' she added.
Abbie explained that she had not accessed her TikTok or Instagram accounts for several days, returning only to post the emotional Christmas gift video. 'I've had like four days without logging on at all. I deleted the apps. I thought: "The chookies have got to see the video of Adam", but I'm deleting the apps again now,' she revealed.

'I just want to have a break from everyone,' Abbie confided. 'Not everyone, from someone every day saying something negative about me or to me. You know what I mean?'. However, her social media break was short-lived, as Abbie returned to posting on her Instagram story just five hours after her exit video.
