Abbie Chatfield has broken her silence after revealing she has been secretly struggling with suicidal thoughts. The Bachelor star, 29, was reduced to tears as she spoke about her mental health on her podcast, It's A Lot, after a man 'harassed' her at the Australian Open.
She candidly detailed her struggles with suicidal thoughts as a result of trolling, and dealing with the trauma of domestic violence in a past relationship. Just hours after the admission, Abbie took to her Instagram Stories to share some poignant words with her followers.
The reality TV star revealed that many of her fans had been urging her to quit her career as an influencer and step away from the spotlight because of the trolling. However, Abbie insisted it wasn't an easy thing to do because she relies on social media and her public profile to make a living.

'Telling me to get off the internet and have a break would mean I am unemployed, which is not really realistic to have zero income,' she explained. 'It also wouldn't stop the damage already done and I would then have enormous financial strain soooo would make things significantly worse.'.
