TikTok cleanfluencer @jessicamay_home has dropped her straightforward yet effective method for "effortlessly" sprucing up an air fryer.
In a clip shared on the platform, she divulges her favourite hack, which needs just a few things you've probably got lying around: half a cup of bicarb, a dollop of Fairy Max Power washing-up liquid, and a bit of boiling water. Mix them together, let it sit for 20 minutes to soften the grime, and as Jessica shows, this combo transforms the scrubbing game, making it "four times less scrubbing.".
The video captures her air fryer baskets before and after the treatment, caked in tough grease initially, then spotless post-cleanse, reports the Express. After a brief scrub and rinse, and once the baskets are bone-dry, she puts the air fryer back together, showcasing its gleaming, ready-to-use-again appearance. She said: "Look at that. It's shiny, squeaky clean and ready to feed the family again.".
To finish off the cleaning process, Jessica suggests using a moist microfibre cloth to clean the exterior of the appliance, particularly around the control panel and buttons, making sure no water seeps into the electronics. For enduring results, she also recommends giving your air fryer a swift clean after each use to avoid the accumulation of grease and food, even if it's just concentrating on the basket.
