Presenter Alan Carr has recalled getting food poisoning at a party and Adele's dog then taking a "s***" on his floor. Alan, 48, has teased that he was "nearly killed" by Paloma Faith, 43, after she served a lamb dish at his home once. He said that Adele, 36, and her dachshund Louie, 17, were also in attendance for the meal, which was "quite a while ago".
He spoke about the incident with pal Paloma whilst a guest on the first episode of her Mad, Sad and Bad podcast, which was released on Tuesday. A clip was shared by the podcast's Instagram account and the caption of the joint post with Paloma teased: "I gave @chattyman @adele and her dog food poisoning and will never live it down.".
At one point towards the end of the episode, Alan teased to the podcast host: "You keep mentioning food poisoning. Are we going to mention when you nearly killed me? [...] And you nearly killed Adele's dog." Paloma said: "I know we make a joke of it but I did feel bad for ages about that.".
Alan went on to share: "Adele, her dog Louie and Paloma came round. Now, it was quite a while ago but I remember you saying 'I'll cook. I'll cook us something lovely." It was then stated that her chosen dish included lamb. Paloma said: "It was the lamb that gave everyone food poisoning. I know because I follow my gut and my gut said it was the lamb. [...] After we'd eaten it, I knew.".
Her guest Alan continued: "So we're sitting there and the first time my stomach's going 'ohhhh'. And then Adele's dog Louie's a sausage dog so then the dog had a bit of the lamb. And then I've never seen s*** come out so quick. It was a pfft. Like a brown skiddy. And that was an expensive rug.".
