BARGAIN specialists Aldi have slashed the prices of their wines with a Laurent Perrier champagne dupe being the pick of the bunch. The bottle is scanning at tills for just £8.19 and is already being tipped as the perfect Christmas drink. Aldi are known for their incredible dupe deals on everything from chocolates to even fancy toys but their collection of discount wines are set to steal the show this festive period.
Dozens of sparkling, red, white and even sherries are on offer over the next few weeks across the UK with the champagne dupe topping the list. The Specially Selected Cremant du Jura has already gone viral this year for its striking similarities to Laurent Perrier's beloved bottles.
It was originally setting back shoppers £10.99 - still a bargain to many - but Aldi have now slashed it down even further down to just £8.19. It comes in a fancy 75cl black bottle with gold trim and is already an award winner after scooping up at this years's Drinks Business Sparkling Masters.
Wine professional Tom Gilbey uncorked the budget bottle of fizz and crowned it as this year's supermarket stunner. Tom shared the "absolute banger" of a tipple to his over 100,000 TikTok followers as he urged shoppers to run to their nearest store. He labelled it the “go-to Christmas crémant” and praised it for its "zippy" taste.
