Andy Murray takes aim at Elon Musk amid Liverpool takeover claims Andy Murray has poked fun at Elon Musk's presence on social media website X.
The retired Scottish tennis star, currently coaching former rival Novak Djokovic in Melbourne ahead of the Australian Open, claimed the Tesla and SpaceX chief was dominating his feed on X. Musk owns the site formerly known as Twitter.
Musk had already captured headlines in the sporting world of late, after his father suggested Donald Trump's ally would be interested in buying Liverpool Football Club.
"His grandmother was born in Liverpool, and we have relatives in Liverpool, and we were fortunate to know quite a lot of the Beatles because they grew up with some of my family," he added.
"The top 17 posts on my Twitter [sic] feed are from Elon Musk."
