The trailer of the newest season of The Kardashians shared the ultimate teaser for upcoming drama as blast-from-the-past Lamar Odom returns, and fans are frantic to know whether Khloe Kardashian's star-crossed lover has finally won her back for good. Khloe Kardashian has been dubbed the most relatable and real of the Kardashian clan. The Reality TV family that climbed their way to the Hidden Hills of Hollywood has faced more than its fair share of drama - one of the most dramatic storylines being Khloe Kardashian's rollercoaster marriage to NBA star, Lamar Odom, in 2009 and their eventual divorce in 2016.
Lamar's return to the show features him meeting with his long-and-sought-after ex, Khloe Kardashian, which was organised by Khloe's closest friend, Malika Haqq. According to the DailyMail, Lamar and Malika 'bumped into each other' in Las Vegas several months ago where Haqq had said: 'You know, Lamar, I think it’s time for you and Khloe to – it’s been years" and claimed that she could "make it happen" if he was "up for it".
Clearly Malika's attempt was a successful as this season's trailer shows Lamar, tail between his legs, being surprised by the cameras as he walked through the door with a romantic bouquet of red roses (for Khloe). Kardashian and Odom' had met in August, 2009, at a party for Ron Artest, another player in the NBA. In response to their immediate engagement, Lamar told Playboy that he'd thought: "If I do what I normally do, I'm going to lose her," and that if he lost her, he'd thought "it's going to hurt a lot". The player stated "right then and there, I knew. We were together every day".
